Extremely unlikely but can happen and has happened when every miltia of mine critted. Dropping it to 1/3 hp or 1/2 hp left or killing it swiftly in a single turn. Militia moves and shoots 3x or 2x times at the remaining eyeball of death. Before you do that, drop a mass driver shell onto one of the eyeballs of death and it succeeds at 47% chance. Two eyeballs of doom Plus four evil thralls attacking your poor improved miltia?Ĭharge forth and position your milita so that after enemy moves, the milita can move mostly intact so that they can shoot 3x or 2x times after voidbringer's turn. Sometimes its just plain not possible but other times it can be done it depends on composition of the enemy stack and start positions of both armies on tactical map. I usually have my militia charge rabidly towards the voidbringers to kill them all. Throwing in a operation or two does help your militia immensely. To win, positioning and understanding of how many attacks enemy thralls/voidbringers will get when its their turn is quite important. Ideally you want at minimum, upgrade your city defenses so that you will have at least six units to work with which's alot more doable than 3 or 4. I've won plenty of battles defending against voidbringer raids with nothing but militia. Voidbringer enthralled fliers is best targets for this kind of thing because they can't get resurrected from death via Giant eyeball of death's resurrection spell.Īnd they're not immortal, your militia is just at an absurd disadvantage that's all. It doesn't matter what kind of unit it is, just make it lose one unit each time damn it. What you must do is make sure enemy stack loses at least one unit each time it takes out a sector of yours. Next, you don't have to kill all six units.
